The short passages in Heart of a Buddha are like something we might say to a friend to help him move more calmly through the day. Or to help another friend stay focused on her practice. And, of course, to encourage ourselves. These brief insights are from various sources. Several are from the sutras. Others are from Venerable Master Chin Kung and Venerable Wuling. Some have been simplified, some condensed, some paraphrased. All are sincere in the wish that whatever we do, we want to do it with compassion and wisdom. With the heart of a Buddha.
